Position SummaryNorth America Display Office is seeking a talented individual with strong technical expertise to support the increase of sales of B2B display products, including Samsung Indoor/Outdoor Large Format Displays, Business Desktop Monitors, Interactive Flat Panel Displays, Indoor/Outdoor LED, and software solutions by providing pre-sales technical engineering consultation, product/solution trainings, and technical design support to reseller partners in predefined territory. The successful candidate will be passionate about Digital Signage and Services with experience in AV integration, IP networking, signage software and applications, and broad technical skills.

Role and Responsibilities - This role is the subject matter expert on all Samsung Digital Signage Solutions and the technical resources to the sales teams, partners, and customers
- Pre- sales engineering support for the North America sales subsidiaries, system integrators and/or end customers with Samsung Solutions
- Provide Samsung Digital Signage Solution trainings to reseller partners and system integrators
- Make solution recommendations based on RFP requirements, architectural, and/or system design drawings
- Conduct design and installation trainings of Indoor/Outdoor LEDs and Videowall solutions.
- Support System Integrators and End customers to optimize the usage of Software solution (customization/integration in their solution), which include Samsung VXT, MagicInfo Content Management Software and Tizen platform (SSSP)
- Support technical design issues regarding SSSP, LED, LFD and other B2B display solution products in North America
- Provide timely proactive pre-sales engineering support to:
- Samsung B2B Sales Teams
- End users and System Integrators.
- North America Business Development Managers
- Liaise with key industry partners in Digital Signage market place and provide proactive market intelligence to HQ
- Competition tracking and analysis
- Support customers with technical solutions, including implementation and some maintenance support.
- Coordinate with multiple workgroups to ensure business task is completed.
- Support the Samsung/partner events and industry trade shows.
- Support EBC
- Conduct sales meetings and provide demos
- Installation and maintenance of new models along with existing solutions
- Frequent domestic travel required
- Candidate must be willing to work frequent additional hours beyond normal schedule in conjunction with Samsung teams located globally.
Skills and Qualifications - Must be passionate and have an in-depth knowledge of AV systems with strong emphasis on video distribution and software solutions
- Must be willing to travel - requires frequent and unplanned business trips
- A degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred. Relevant work experience is highly desired
- 12 years of related experience in similar industry with BA, 5 year in AV/IT integration
- Technical background and interest in IT, IP networks, Digital Signage and/or Display industry
- Excellent presentation, people, communication (in oral and written and non-verbal) skills
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Proactive, flexible and adaptable personality
- Must have self-starter, Business/Task/Project oriented mind set - must see tasks to completion
